What is it like working for Shipt?  To be honest being a Shipt shopper a very good hustle especially for an introvert.  I'm not even big on driving but even I was able to do it.  Let's be honest I only did it for one day but in that one day of work I got to see how much potential this one side job could potentially bring in.

I was nervous to deliver groceries and it took about two months for me to actually use the app but when I did it was very easy I put myself on the schedule for around 11 a.m. (That was late and it was a Sunday so all the drivers are out) I was done with the first order by 12 p.m. I really could have stayed out longer but I was just testing the app to see if Shipt was one of those things I would do again.

I made sure I turned on my camera and vlogged my entire 1 hour shift basically just to show how easy it was.  I brought snacks from the dollar store and water so I didn't spend up the little bit of money I did make.  I actually had fun!

But let's also get to the parts that weren't so much fun.  It was really easy to see what was on the customer's list in the app but when I couldn't find an item it was kind of frustrating. When you can't find something you have to just tell them it wasn't found, see if they would like something else and keep going.

This particular customer did not want to be called or messaged so you basically just skip over the item and mark "not found".  The checkout was also pretty easy but it's all so intricate because you have to make sure that your groceries are separated correctly (not piled on top of each other ) also at the register you need to scan a non tax exempt barcode on your phone and then you have to pray you're Shipt credit card works.  My order actually went through very well.

Now we're off to the customer's house I was at a Target in the Northlake area her house was in the Norcross, Georgia area wasn't too far I was familiar with the area which made it more comfortable.  I did get lost and the Shipt GPS directed me to a apartment complex instead of a house.  I don't recommend using their GPS I recommend using your own GPS like Waze.  The house was actually down the street I put on my mask drop the groceries on the doorstep took a picture (that I forgot to send in) and left.

So at first I was open to another order and I went to my favorite Wal mart parking lot. But by now it's approaching about 12:00 noon and there wasn't any other orders coming in so of course being lazy I picked up a couple things for my mother and proceeded to go home. For that little venture I was paid about $10.98  which I guess wasn't bad but then I saw why people keep driving for Shipt.  I was cooking myself some dinner in a couple hours later  I get a tip for $5.00 now that made my trip worth it so I see why people will continue to come out and drive for Shipt ,Uber, Instacart it's really a tip game because now that $10.98 turn into $15.98  I can now see how staying out delivering groceries for a half a day or a whole day can end up being a nice piece of change.

I took a little break from the Shipt App. I expect to go back out soon but with gas soaring in price it's not an ideal thing for me to do right now especially when there's other ways to make side hustle money.  Overall I give it about four and a half stars. Shipt was something fun to do and you make money while doing it so why not.  Here's a video I've vlogged the day I did shipped for the first day:

Hope you enjoyed this blog and the video make sure to come back now ya hear!

This is one of my favorite quick bean salads I make when I need to prep some food to last a couple days. Dairy-free garbanzo bean aka chickpea salad is my favorite because there is REALLY no cook time. Unless you would like to make your garbanzo beans fresh. Mines are out of the can but you can make this with homecooked garbanzo beans and it will be even tastier! Here is everything you need to make this delicious dish!

I'm just one person so I used one can of garbanzo beans (chickpeas) but feel free to add more if you are making this dish for more people. Black olives, Sweet relish, Plant based Mayo, Yellow Mustard, and red onion (its not pictured here but I added some sliced green olives also.
Chop everything up into a bowl of your choice (everything except the garbanzo beans) get ready to add some seasoning and our wet ingredients.
I go a little crazy with the seasonings and I added sunflower kernels. The sunflower kernels give the salad a crunch and a nutty flavor which is a great compliment to the taste in this garbanzo bean (chickpea) salad. Seasoning is optional you can use any type of seasoning that works for you here is what I put in this garbanzo bean salad: garlic powder, chopped chives, fine pink Himalayan sea salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, ground paprika. Only use the seasonings you like in your dish.
Came out excellent! Added some crackers and topped it with some shredded dairy-free cheddar cheese. This is definitely one of my top quick recipes! Garbanzo bean salad can be a side dish for a dinner a quick snack with some crackers or just lunch by itself. You can find garbanzo beans (chickpeas) in a can for under $1.00 each or you can make them from scratch a bag might cost 1.49 but they are worth it. It's a staple in my pantry to have canned garbanzo beans and bags of dry garbanzo beans. Add them to your grocery list and start feasting!

You can create easy nail art with a couple tools that will make you look like a professional. For this demonstration I'm going to use some acrylic paint you can find at Michaels, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Jo Anns craft store or even online, A dotting tool (Can be found online or at a beauty store like Sally's), An old toothbrush (Not the same one for your teeth and a long line brush (usually found in a cheap nail art brush set)

First white dot design is super easy. I'm using a practice finger with a nail tip inserted. I painted the nail tip pink and started with one white dot. Next place two white dots above it and repeat that pattern until there is no more room for anymore dots.

Put top coat over it and now you have an easy peasy dot pattern you can do on all types of nails or just one accent nail.

The second nail design is one of the most simple designs I've ever seen. Your going to take an old tooth brush dip the tip of the toothbrush into your desired acrylic paint and keep dabbing on the nail until you get the look you like.

Let it dry and put your desired topcoat over it and be proud of your one of a kind toothbrush design.

I saved the geometric lines for last because this is the most challenging for a beginner with little to no nail art skills. Take your thinnest line brush dip it in the acrylic paint make sure to test your lines on a piece of paper or cardboard to make sure the lines are smooth and thin. Start with two sets of lines on one side of the nail then another two lines on the opposite side of the nail. Lastly start creating lines going thru the other lines. Now you have a geometric line nail.

Apply topcoat over the top and WALA you made a geometric nail design.

All these nail designs and simple and with acrylic paint the designs are unlimited. Make sure to let your acrylic paint dry completely before applying the topcoat. You will know it's dry when it's a flat color and looks like chalk.

Happy Nail Designing!
