The hottest place to move used to be Los Angeles, California but with rent prices skyrocketing people are moving to the south. One of the most popular cities to move at the moment is Atlanta, Georgia. It sounds great right!? There is a music scene, TV and Film industries and of course plenty of celebrities. I know what you're asking… How much is the cost of housing in Atlanta, GA? It depends on your current situation, how much space you need and how close would you like to be to the city?
If you look on Craigslist.org you will find some good deals but this is also where a lot of scammer activity takes place. I found a couple apartments between $900 - $1500 that looked decent in the picture but there is always a risk with a website like this. There could be no apartment available at all. Be careful and use extra caution when on Craigslist.orgZumper was one of my favorite rental research tools. With Zumper I was able to put in exactly what I was looking for and it brought up the prices. On a studio up to 1 bedroom apartment according to Zumper rent would be an average range of about $1,100 - $2,000 which is good considering the average studio in LA is double that price. There was a wide variety of rent prices and covered many areas in Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding areas (Which may cost a little less per month)
Maybe you want to live in the place your looking to move but don’t have relatives or friends in that city. Check Intown Suites to see if they are in your chosen destination. Another similar choice is Airbnb. These are both temporary options but could get you in that city you want to live and work. The prices vary depending on if you want the entire space or a room. Intown Suites cost around $1,200 -$1,600 a month to stay for a whole month. These could easily be used to get a place to stay for the short term.
Do you need help or assistance to move to a new city? Try ProMove they can actually assist you with your move to Atlanta. Whether you're looking for a house or apartment they got you covered and can give you assistance with movers and other companies you may need to use while transitioning to Atlanta, Georgia.
Moving to a new city, state or even out of the country can be hard. Using the above resources can help you with your move to Atlanta, Georgia and make it a less stressful situation. Even when you're looking for a new apartment to move in the same city can be just as difficult. I’m hoping you take advantage of the great websites listed above and here are some tips to get you in that moving mindset. Here are some things to consider if you are trying to move right now:
Look into renting a room or having a roommate. It could cut down your cost if you don’t mind sharing your space.
Have a budget. Make a monthly budget for all your rent and living expense and try to stick to it
Get rid of your car. If you live in a city and have public transportation plus rideshare (Uber or Lyft) you can definitely let go of the cost of a vehicle.
Put away a few months rent (if possible) this is like an emergency fund in case you need extra money.
Be flexible. What you want could take a temporary move to get to the perfect long term stay

I did it again! I was able to scoop four colors of nail polish from The Dollar Tree all Sinful Colors brand! I'm super excited because its very rare to see Sinful Colors nail polish in The Dollar Tree. Sinful colors nail polish is usually in a store like Sally's or a higher priced beauty store. I was also impressed with the shades I picked up. Usualy the colors all look alike or they are dull and unwanted but these colors are POPULAR!.

Ok I’m not going to lie it was A LOT of work but it got me excited and ready to pick up more shifts. Shifts by Snag A Job is a wonderful hustle app. It was so easy to pick up a shift. Of course you have to sign up and do your paperwork but once you're on the app there is no reason to not have some money coming in every month.
I messed up with picking my first shift because I went for the back of the house. The back of the house at a restaurant is NOT where I was trying to be. I got stuck washing a lot of dishes and my hands were tore up but at least they didn’t have me take out garbage. Yes, I’m a lazy millennial who “doesn’t dream of labor” but sometimes that labor can get you where you need to be.
My job wasn’t far under 10 miles away. I used the Waze app to navigate me there and half way back. The shift was from 9:30am-4:30pm I ended up staying till after 5pm and they paid me for it. I also got bonus pay for doing my first job on Shifts by Snag a job. I’m looking into more shifts to go to for next week. Not this week because this Saturday is my birthday :)
Now that I’m over the shock of actually going back to work I’ll be way more ready for the next job I go to. I plan on doing Shipt next to see how it is to do food delivery and then I will get my next shift from Wonolo. Wonolo is more industrial and has more manufacturing jobs which is cool with me because the pay is really good.
Definitely jump on this wave. With everything happening in the world it’s good to know you can go pick up work when needed and create your own schedule. The workforce has definitely changed and we can all benefit from it. Get out there and get to shift working! If your interested in signing up with Shifts by Snag a job here is my referral link: https://i.snag.co/pw77m

I'm learning to wait for sales on some of my favorite groceries. It takes about (3) weeks for my local Kroger to mark plant based meats down but it's worth the wait. These (2) pack of Impossible Burgers (Plant Based) are usually $6.99 and when they first came out I paid full price because I was so impressed that it tasted like I was eating a REAL burger. That was about 2 years ago. Now I focus more on beans, fruits and vegetables and make meals like these my cheat dinner nights.

It was sad to see my favorite thrift store not having half off day anymore. I used to be so excited to get to the the Monday 1/2 off sale to find some cool clothes for pennies. But now you have to look way harder to get those types of deals. They still ran two color tickets that are half off so that was still a good thing.

This is my D.I.Y recipe for shaving lotion. I've used this recipe for years and years and I haven't had any cuts since I start making it. I used to buy shaving cream and I would be cut a couple times by the time I got done shaving my legs. With this DIY shaving lotion I never had that problem.

I have all of these ideas but I feel like I'm stuck. Not because I don't have the ideas but because I have TOO MANY ideas. I was watching the video below and I really recorded all day. In total I think I did 5 videos in a day that particular day. I wake up with so many ideas I get paralyzed and don't do any of them. So I'm thinking I need to write down a couple and work on them one at a time so I don't feel so overwhelmed.
I also see I had a high level of excitement that I don't currently have. This was also back in October 2019 before all of the insanity of 2020 and 2021. So it was a more carefree time with none of the stresses we have at the moment. Make sure to come back I have some DIY recipes I'm going to post on the blog. Here is a blast from the past. My YouTube upload from October 2019:

I've been on this app for about (6) months and it's really been helping with transitioning into audio from video (YouTube). The app is called Spoon I seen a couple people using it and it looked easy and I wanted to give it a try. At the time everybody was in quarantine....perfect timing.

I’m always running around doing errands and trying to vlog at the same time. I saw there was a problem though, everything was always scattered everywhere. My camera would be in my jacket pocket, SD and battery in my pants pocket, and then my tripod would be too big to go in my purse so I would have to leave it at home. My old canon was on the way out so I said I was going to make the most compact affordable YouTube set up ever! It’s going to be so compact it will fit in a standard fanny pack! So here is the YouTube vlogger on the go fanny pack gear :
FANNY PACK
Of course you need a basic fanny pack. The more zippers and pockets the better. Got this one of eBay for I think $8.00 it was meant for the gym actually.
DIGITAL CAMERAThis is my old Canon Powershot Elph I used for vlogging before the sound went out. UPDATE: I wanted a camera I could see myself in so I got the Canon SX740 SX. It's a great deal to me for the quality of footage I get plus the fact that I can see myself makes it all worth it! (Yes the new camera fits in the fanny pack as well)
MINI TRIPODThis little tripod is the best thing ever! It’s a Manfrotto mini tripod. It’s so small and fits in your hand perfectly. I didn’t know if it was going to fit into the fanny pack or not so when I saw it fit my day was made! I haven't stopped recording since.
EXTRA BATTERIESThe extra batteries for me are a must! I use the record feature a lot so when my camera flashes red and tells me to change the battery I stop, change it, put the other one on charge and continue. For me I have (3) batteries for the Canon SX 740 SX that’s enough to keep me going for the entire day. The most I’ve ever had to change the battery is once in a day. (I do the same with the Canon Power Shot ELPH 340 HS and my DSLR Canon)
SD CARDSAll together I probably have about (29) SD Cards because I list online daily and do videos on multiple platforms. For the average person 2-4 SD Cards with between 8GB to 16GB should be well more than enough to get started. When I’m out I have one in my camera and one in the fanny pack. UPDATE: I have now moved up to 32-64GB because of more photography and more video but it’s not necessary starting out a 16GB SD Card is ideal though)
MINI RING LIGHTThis was a very inexpensive light and helps to be seen on camera when you are losing light. It’s meant to be clipped on a cell phone but it can be clipped anywhere. It gives off (3) strengths of light and it’s great at night time.
When it’s time to go out I make sure everything is charged and put on my fanny pack and I’m ready to record anywhere I go! This compact fanny pack set up can also be used for photography. You would probably need a mini bookbag to carry a bigger camera like a DSLR but you would still need everything I mentioned in the fanny pack You Tube set up.See being a YouTuber, Instagrammer or Tik Toker is only a fanny pack away! Get some starter gear and start creating!

I don't work a traditional 9-5 but there are occasions where I have to be dressed business casual. For that reason I keep dress shoes and black slacks (even though I'm a tomboy) just in case I would need them for a function that called for business casual. This is a super simple look I pulled out of the closet I could wear at a casual business meeting or to go out to a nice restaurant. Hey maybe even on a date...
